Same issue. Parrot works in VirtualBox and Live USB, but will do nothing after GRUB on install. Please offer some guidance. (MBP 6,2; i7)

I installed Parrot 3.10 today and did not have any problems afterward, what version of Parrot did you install and with which options (LVM,Encrypted...) ?

Re: Parrot OS stuck on a black screen after Grub?

Parrot 4.13.0 amd64. No options with boot, root, and swap partitions. Ext4 format. Dual booting with MacOS High Sierra. I have tried combinations of older versions of both OS’s with the same outcome.

Re: Parrot OS stuck on a black screen after Grub?

4.13.0 is not the Parrot Version, the actual version is 3.10.1, also i never installed an OS with dual booting so i can't troubleshoot that, since you say it works on Live and VM, it's probably the dual booting that is causing the issue.

When you select the boot menu, what options do you have ? (example : Parrot, Parrot UEFI, MAC...)

Re: Parrot OS stuck on a black screen after Grub?

Just Parrot and advanced options. I tried to post pictures but it didn’t work. I can type out all of the boot parameters if you think it would help.

I hold the opt key if I want to get to MacOS. I have the same issue with Kali, but was able to login before getting stuck. I don’t know if they are separate issues or if Kali and Parrot load things in different order. I would prefer to use Parrot. I appreciate your help, by the way.
